Our Process
Console Repair
All Nintendo, Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox Consoles are repairable, from HDMI port replacements to Disk drives to IC and graphics chips, our in-house solder technician has repaired everything from the Commodore 64 and up, but some devices are not worth repairing. Keep in mind consoles that can be bought second hand for less than our diagnostic will be recommended against repairing unless the console is a special edition or particularly sentimental. We can also work on less popular consoles like the Neo Geo, SEGA and others based on a case by case situation
Apple Repair
Silver Knight PCs can diagnose and fix a wide range of Apple and Macintosh Computers from the Apple IIC and eMac to the latest iMacs, Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, Mac Studio, Macintosh G3 and G4 Series, Mac Pro and Mac Mini. Apple diagnostics were available both for software and hardware starting in 1984 to present day with a collective experience of over 30 years of working on Apple Computer products. We do not fix iPads or iPhones but refer folks to Quack Quack Phone Repair for those types of devices as they are a trusted local partner of our company.
Laptop Repair
Silver Knight PCs offers a wide range of computer laptop repairs both in type and brands. All major brands of laptops starting in late 1990s and up are repairable. We are directly partnered with ASUS, MSI, Acer, Lenovo, HP, Dell, Corsair, Gigabyte, and Razer for parts and support. We can also work on other brand devices such as Samsung, Gateway, and Toshiba amongst others. Just like with consoles, we will advise if the laptop is not worth repairing compared to a replacement. Repairs such as DC jack replacements, driver issues, software problems, BSODs (Blue Screens of Death), battery replacements, disk drive issues, hard drive failures, motherboard repair or replacement, keyboard/touchpad repair, screen replacements, failure to power on or boot into Windows and liquid damage are all common repairs that we are equipped to handle. Even physical damage can be assessed for repair.
Desktop Repair
Silver Knight PCs was built on desktop computer builds and repair. We are hardware experts and have experience working on systems old enough to be equipped with Voodoo GPUs and 386 CPUs and as new as the RTX 5090 and Threadripper Pro. We do all forms of desktop diagnostics such as Blue Screens of Death, BSODs, game crashes, instability, overheating, as well as work on servers diagnostics, operating system troubleshooting, hard drive failure, RAM issues, graphics card artifacting/instability and failures. We have 3 desktop test benches for testing equipment and every generation of Intel and AMD processor as well as matching motherboards. We also have boards and parts for testing Intel Extreme Edition, Threadripper, Threadripper Pro, all generations of graphics cards and every generation of desktop memory. We also can test custom water cooling loops and have a mobile radiator/pump assembly with the ability to test custom water block GPUs by themselves and motherboards equipped with mono block CPU water blocks. From the iBuyPower prebuilt to high end custom systems we work on them all.
